Ageas Cool Jazz fills the Hipodromo, IberCup brings international junior football to the Estoril coast, and Furnas do Guincho stretches the afternoon over the Atlantic.
A monthly edit from Bellevue Cascais on coastal living, culture, property and the rituals of the Lisbon coast. This is a preview of the July edition.
July, under the umbrella pines.
July arrives at the rhythm of the Ageas Cool Jazz. The Hipodromo fills with music again, IberCup brings international junior football to the Estoril coast, and Furnas do Guincho stretches the afternoon over the Atlantic.
In this edition we gather six dates to keep in the calendar, one table to book by the sea, and the latest news from the site.
The Bellevue Cascais Team
July is the month when Cascais eases the working pace and steps fully into summer. The Avenida Marginal opens to bicycles at the end of the day, the bay holds its light long after nine in the evening, and the walk between Santa Marta and Boca do Inferno comes alive with the warm breeze off the Atlantic.

8 to 31 July · Hipodromo Manuel Possolo and Parque Marechal Carmona
Three weeks of concerts
Gilberto Gil opens the festival on 8 July, David Byrne on 14, Loyle Carner on 15, Jamiroquai on 18, Franz Ferdinand on 25, Scissor Sisters on 29, and Chet Faker closes the edition on 31.

Estrada do Guincho · Cascais
Best for a long lunch after the beach
A restaurant open to the Atlantic, where the fish arrives fresh from the coast and the grill is the centre of the experience. Between the sound of the sea and the light of the Guincho cliffs, the kitchen stays true to the place.
Book a table →The project continues to move forward at pace. Interior plaster is complete across all floors. Electrical, plumbing, drainage and HVAC installations are progressing up to floor 3 in both blocks, while facade and praceta works continue on schedule…
